About the Author: COLLIER SCHORR is an American artist and fashion photographer that grew up in Queens. She studied journalism at the School of Visual Arts in New York and later became an art critic for short a period of time. She now resides in Brooklyn, New York and spends her summers in the south of Germany.
This book contains images Schorr captured of young wrestlers during their training and matches. This photographic essay of sorts is meant to highlight the duality of wrestling - a traditionally masculine sport - by presenting the vulnerability and femininity that exists in the activity.
