Clear epoxy resin is cast with a brutalist hand to create the Portland Cup. The achromic material has been formed in such a way as to manipulate the light that passes through it – exhibiting darkening tones as the cup is turned. The solidity of the piece’s shape belies a subtle asymmetry by way of acute angles. Signature CONCRETE OBJECTS text is engraved in inaudible lettering below the right-angled lip.
