Geoffrey B. Small was an early pioneer of the artisanal avant-garde fashion movement when he founded his eponymous label in 1993. His business has grown organically over the past twenty-five odd years since its foundation and established a clear, widespread global community of fans. Recently, Geoffrey celebrated his one-hundredth collection with the release of a handcrafted book chronicling the creation of the collection itself. Working and living in Italy, Small works with textile artisans to develop custom fabrics from the finest materials imaginable. Beyond his highly rarified textiles, another cornerstone of Small’s work is his obsessive attention to detail. His garments not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful.
