VETEMENTS is a label born from a collective based between Düsseldorf and Paris. Led by Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia, VETEMENTS questions the very essence of fashion. Demna Gvasalia and collective members with previous ties to Maison Margiela, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Céline, and Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, focus on singular, impactful pieces with immediate appeal rather than thematic seasonal collections. VETEMENTS represents an experiment with fashion of how far the medium can be stretched.
