Marine Serre is a young French designer taking the fashion industry by storm. Her young brand, launched in 2017, has already become a favourite among critics and clients alike. Serre studied fashion in her Belgium before working at many prestigious houses as an intern where she would hone her design craft, and build an understanding of what it takes to create a strong fashion business. Later, she would join Demna Gvasalia, alongside Martine Rose, as a lead designer at Balenciaga where she dispelled the beginnings of her bizarro futurist vision. Today, as her brand universe grows, Marine’s clothing becomes more fascinating with each successive collection as she blends futurism with fetishism while maintaining a sustainable approach through the use of upcycled textiles in her more ambitious creations.
